The Anansazi kept records and told stories using the cliff walls around their complexes. Pictographs were painted using local pigments. Petroglyphs were etched into the rock. Both remain to this day. This set of petroglyphs appear to be recorded at different times. Some of them may be the work of the Navajo or white men who came after the Anasazi.
