Santa Barbara hosts a presidio and a mission. The mission is on top of a hill and must have had an unobstructed vista of the hills and the coast now the site of the Riviera of the US, the town of Santa Barbara. The presidio resides in downtown Santa Barbara which must have grown around it. This photo was taken behind the presidio church. The angles, the tile, and the stark white walls inspired this image.
